Richard Linklater is a director I respect. He broke into the industry with the iconic cult hit Slacker. His accounts of teenage deliquency in films like Dazed and Confused, SubUrbia and of course Slacker are perfect. He has brought us love stories, scifi and now he has tackled theater. His latest film is called "Me and Orson Wells" and it stars Zac Efron as a high school student who lands himself a role in the Orson Wells stage production of Juilius Ceasar. When I first heard Efron was the lead I was a bit skeptical, but after watching the trailer, I am sold. "Me and Orson Wells" also stars Claire Daines, Ben Chaplin, Zoe Kazan and Christian McKay. The film does not have a release date set yet, but should find one before the end of the year. Checkout the trailer below...
