Continuing along in my 5 Part breakdown of Schofizzy's Top 25 Most Anticipated Films Left in 2009 today comes Part IV. Part IV represents number's 10-6 of the list and each and everyone of these films looks to be Top 10 Films of the Year caliber. If they will actually dawn my Top 10 Films of 2009 is clearly, yet to be determined, but I suspect they will definitely shake things up. Checkout the Part IV below...
Peter Jackson's next directorial effort "The Lovely Bones" looks absolutely breath-taking. Jackson looks to have put together a powerful display of his epic visuals and a intirguing thriller in one grandiose event. Alice Sebold's book comes highly acclaimed and although I have not read it, I am extremely excited to see how this movie plays out. The first trailer released displays an compelling mix of fantasy and suspense and after watching, there is no doubt why this film is in the Top 10 of films that are must see's in 2009. "Youth in Revolt" is a treasured book. I have read it at least three times and I couldn't be happier that a big screen adaptation has been made. What makes the film that much better is the amazing cast of actors. Michael Cera was a perfect fit for Nick Twisp and I can't wait to watch the hilarity play out in the theater. Every single actor within the film I love and although, I have yet to see a trailer "Youth in Revolt" is something I have been waiting a long time for. Director Miguel Arteta who directed 2002's The Good Girl is a director I have followed and I am excited to see what he does with one of my favorite books. Director: Miguel Arteta

Just about any zombie movie I am already excited about. It doesn't matter what the premise is, if their is zombies in the movie, than I want to see it. Ruben Fleischer's "Zombieland" however is something to get really excited about. I have been pysched about this film since it's infancy stage and after seeing the trailer, I am avid. It looks absolutely incredible with flawless dialogue and side-splitting performances from Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg and best of all, fantastic kills. The story is essentially the same as any zombie story, survive, but the quarky nature to Fleischer's "Zombieland" has me pissing my pants with anticipation. Director: Ruben Fleischer

"Gentlemen Broncos" looks awesomeanous! Director Jared Hess who brought us his 2004 break out hit Napoleon Dynamite is back with "Gentlemen Broncos" and it looks insanely funny. Hess's new comedy features an all-star cast that by it self warrants a position on the Top 25 Most Anticipated Films Left in 2009. To start there is Sam Rockwell, who is probably my favorite working actor today. The guy is a genius and has an acting range as vast as space itself. He really can do no wrong. Sam's character in this film is too great for words, priceless. Jermaine Clement from the musical duo Flight of the Conchords and Eagle vs. Shark also stars in Hess's comedy as Ronald Chevalier (pictured above). Clement's character looks to be one in a million. Were talking Ron Burgundy type stuff. "Gentlemen Broncos" also stars Michael Angarano, who is an under rated talent, in the lead role of Benjamin. If it weren't for an amazing array of films left to see in 2009 Hess's "Gentlemen Broncos" would have easily found itself in the Top 5. Director: Jared Hess

"New York, I Love You" is the most anticipated sequel left in 2009! 2006's Paris, Je T'aime was amazing and it's sequel of sorts looks equally as good. The film boasts an amazing cast that is too large to list here (see below) and a equal number of talented directors. Like 'Paris', "New York, I Love You" is 11 short films that display different affections for the city. This film has been a long time coming and I have been adamantly waiting for the release. Thankfully the released trailer has lived up to my expectations and I am dying to see "New York, I Love You" the minute it hits theaters.
