Peter Jackson's latest film "The Lovely Bones" has been hyped pretty heavily around the internet since hearing it was his next project. Last night people were estatic over the trailer being debuted on Apple Trailers. This morning I took a gander for myself and the result is very impressive. The first trailer gives a in depth look into the best selling novel adaptation by Jackson and where he has taken the story. If this is the first time your hearing about Peter Jackson's "The Lovely Bones" the film tells a story of a little girl who is raped and murdered only to watch over her family and killer from some sort of heaven. Peter Jackson, has said that in his film it is not heaven but more of a waiting grounds in between heaven and earth. With the passing of the little girl the family tries to cope while also trying to discover who murdered their daughter before another girl is murdered.
"The Lovely Bones" is set for December 11th release and stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli, Saoirse Ronan and Rose McIver. Checkout some outstanding images from the released trailer as well as the trailer below...
