A lengthy red band trailer for Scott Stewart's "Legion" has hit the internet and I have it here for you below. "Legion" follows a biblical apocalypse as it descends upon the world with angles coming to destroy humanity as we know it. The film looks to have a lot going for it, but a few things initially jump out at me after watching the revealing trailer. My biggest complaint would be the story looks over-borrowed for other apocalyptic tales. We haven't seen too many films focusing on angels coming to destroy humanity, but the pregnant mother who holds the key to humanity is just plain tired at this point. I am also a bit perplexed as to why the fate of humanity will be decided in a remote desert town. A side from a few instant problems, the special effects and the overall look to "Legion" are absolutely compelling. "Legion" is directed by Scott Stewart and stars Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Jon Tenney, Charles S. Dutton, Lucas Black, Kate Walsh, Doug Jones, Adrianne Palicki, Kevin Durand, Willa Holland and unfortunately Tyrese Gibson with a scheduled release for January 22nd, 2010.
