Day 3 of Schofizzy's official Top 25 Anticipated Films Left in 2009 is here and today I have Part III for you. Today comes numbers 15-11 and like everything before and still to come each one of these titles deserves it's spot on the list. Without further ado take a look at Part III...
Robert Downey Jr. is on one hell of a roll these days and I couldn't be happier for him. I have loved Downey Jr.'s work since I was a kid and have adamantly followed ever since. I think RDJ looks perfect as Sherlock Holmes and Jude Law also looks very intriguing as Watson. I have had my reservations about Guy Ritchie's knack for directing the same movie over and over again, but "Sherlock Holmes" looks to still be a great time. The humor looks spot-on and the action looks to have that typical Ritchie flare we all enjoy. I have always been a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and I hope come Christmas Day the adventure will measure up. Director: Guy Ritchie

Three actors that I will watch do just about anything are Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire. Each one of them are capable actors who have time-and-time again pulled off fabulous performances. "Brothers" looks like a deeply moving story that potentially will have people talking Oscars for any of the three come the end of the year. Inter-family dynamics has always compelled me and while seeing two brothers develop a love for the same women has been done before, here in "Brothers" the mood looks to be perfect. Director Jim Sheridan's work on 1993's In the Name of the Father has kept me watching all of his films and eventhough he had a hiccup with Get Rich or Die Tryin' I am eagerly awaiting "Brothers" release date. Yes, I am a Twilight fan! I enjoyed the first film have been looking forward to seeing the book series played out on film. Twilight didn't ruin Comic Con, it only bolstered the attendance. You can complain all you want, but Twilight is huge and it is everywhere. "New Moon" looks to up the stakes from the first film and it will be fun to watch Bella's relationship with Jacob develop (even if he is shirtless most of that time). I am also extremely excited to see the werewolf clan start to become more prominent feature and the Volturi scenes shot in Italy should be sweet. I never thought prior to Twilight releasing that I would be a loyal fan, but here we are and here sits "New Moon" at number 13. Director: Chris Weitz

Synopsis: After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella's blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward's sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

The number one most controversial film that came out of Cannes was Lars von Trier's "Antichrist" and I must see it. Trier is an amazing director, one who I have tried to watch anything of his I can get my hands on, and here with "Antichrist" it is no different. The film sounds incredibly creepy and sexual which should be an interesting spin. Both Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsburg are fascinating actors and should prove for engaging performances at the very least. I have heard that the film disgusted people and also had people praising the work. So naturally, a film that is utterly polarizing already makes it a must see, but then you add a shocking horror movie to the mix and there is no doubt why "Antichrist" is on my list. "Precious: Based on the novel "Push" by Sapphire" won Cannes Film Festival this year, so is there any real doubt as to why this film is on my list? The movie looks to be a true gem and wowed both critics and audiences alike. Generally films that tell real life struggle stories are always moving and "Push" looks no different. I have read that the performances are amazing and everything about this film has me infatuated. I am very intrigued to see Lenny Kravitz in a acting role and furthermore Mo'Nique in something serious for once. I am sure we will see this film getting some honors come Oscar time, but now all we can do is wait for the release date. Director: Lee Daniels
