In 2007 we were blessed with "Paris, je t'aime" which was a collaboration of twenty filmmakers that brought their stories of love, from a city of love. The film ws highly praised (84% on Rotten Tomatoes) and was in my Top 10 Films To See of 2007. Paris je t'aime's popularity has caused a second film, "New York, I Love You" which will feature twelve new directors sharing their stories of love, from another city of love.
Directors this time around pretty exciting and include Yvan Attal, Allen Hughes, Shunji Iwai, Wen Jiang, Scarlett Johansson, Joshua Marston, Natalie Portman, Brett Ratner, Andrei Zvyagintsev, Fatih Akin, Randall Balsmeyer, Shekhar Kapur, and Mira Nair. The cast is also mouth-watering with Shia LaBeouf, Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom, Christina Ricci, Irfan Khan, Julie Christie, John Hurt, Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Chris Cooper, Drea de Matteo, Ethan Hawke, Kevin Bacon, Robin Wright Penn, Andy Garcia, Anton Yelchin, James Caan, Maggie Q, Bradley Cooper, and Olivia Thirlby starring in the second film in the je t'aime series. The film will have a sneek peak at Tornoto Film Festival and is set to release Febuary 13th 2009! For now I have the first look at the film and its amazing cast in the teaser trailer below...enjoy!
Thoughts on the teaser trailer? This movie is gonna be great! Anyone going to Toronto Film Festival? How great was Paris, je t'aime?
