Variety has reported that director Quentin Tarantino has brought on three more names to "Inglorious Bastards." Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz and Paul Rust will join Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender, B.J. Novak and Samm Levine who have already been casted.
Diane Kruger will replace Nastassja Kinski as German actress Bridget Von Hammersmark, who figures prominently in a plot to sabotage the Nazis. Kruger was last seen in both National Treasure films co-starring with Nicolas Cage. Christopher Waltz will play the role of Col. Hans Landa, who is the primary antagonist in the WWII drama. It was rumored that Fassbender would play this role, but he more than likely will be another one enlisted in Pitt's militia. Paul Rust will also play of the jewish born men that are enlisted in by Aldo Rain (Brad Pitt).
Filming is set to begin on October 13th in Germany for the Universal/Weinstein production.
What are your thoughts on the most recent casting for Inglorious Bastards? Still no one has replaced Simon Pegg's huge void, but QT will work his magic!
