Steven Soderbergh newest two part epic "CHE" has had very positive reviews from Cannes and will be screened at the New York Film Festival on October 7th as one film. There has been no official release date for the U.S., but the film will be released as two films "The Argentine" and "Guerrilla" here in the U.S., eventhough it has been screened as one film at all its stops along the festival circuit. I personally would love to see it as "One" film instead of two, but I can see the studios concerns about general audiences sitting for over 4hrs! It definately would seem daunting, but with all of the positive reviews people would go. The second reason also makes sense, by breaking it into two films, the profits double and the general audiences will comfortably attend.
The guys over at NeoCin TV have an outstanding looking one-sheet for the first part, The Argentine. The poster is absolutely amazing and I really can't say enough, how great this film looks. Benicio Del Toro is one of my favorite actors, (the man can do no wrong) and being a huge history buff and teacher, this film is right up my alley! The one-sheet features Del Toro looking very "Che" and has some goregous artwork tied in. Anyways enough blabbing, check out the one-sheet below!

Thoughts on The Argentine? Do you want to see this film? Would you watch it as one film, or do you prefer the break up? Discuss....
