A film that I have been following through all of the various talent attached or rumored to star in is "The Beaver". The film was finally scooped up by Jodie Foster who intended to direct the dramedy and she reached out to her old friend to play the lead. "The Beaver" recently went into production in New York and below I have our first glimpses of Mel Gibson and well his Beaver. Checkout the set photos and more details on "The Beaver" below...
"The Beaver" follows a depressed married man (Mel Gibson) who finds solace in wearing and talking to a hand puppet Beaver. Jodie Foster along with directing will play Gibson's wife and Anton Yelchin will play his son. The highly praised script was written by Kyle Killen and is being produced by Steve Golin and Keith Redmon through Summit Entertainment. I honestly am really excited to see Gibson in a darker comedy and hope that it will mean a bit more time of him in front of the camera for a change. Furthermore, having Foster and him back together again is pretty cool. Checkout the photos of Gibson, his puppet and Jodie Foster on set below...
