A brand new poster for the remake to George A. Romero's "The Crazies" has found it's way on to the net and I have it here for you below. The new teaser poster (if you will) only gives a brief glimpse into the remake and not much of what to expect, but that doesn't mean the poster isn't pretty darn cool. "The Crazies" is directed by Sahara director Breck Eisner and stars Timothy Olyphant, Danielle Panabaker, Radha Mitchell, Joe Anderson and Preston Bailey. The remake based off Romero's characters and story was penned by Scott Kosar (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Amityville Horror) and Ray Wright (Case 39 and Pulse). The update is said to be a reinvention of Romero's original story in which one by one a entire town begins to go crazy with tragedies and violence escalating into a state of anarchy. Soon the government becomes involved and quarantines the small town, not letting anyone in or out, regardless of whether they are infected. "The Crazies" is set for a February 26th, 2010 release.
