A-Team Lands BA Baracus

20th Century Fox has found its BA Baracus for the upcoming "The A-Team" film that is being directed by Joe Carnahan. After a very long debate over who will take on the famous Mr. T role, Fox has decided on Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. For all the details on the recent casting read the full story below...

Quinton Rampage Jackson will take on the role made famous by Mr. T, Sgt. Bosco BA Baracus from the 1980's television show of the same name. The BA in the name stands for "Bad Attitude" and based off Rampage's success on UFC, he should fill the bill quite nicely. There is some reason for concern with Rampage only having minimal acting experience, but his role is mainly to do the heavy lifting in "The A-Team" as BA Baracus and not wow us with his acting skills. Personally I think he is a much better fit than any of the other names that had been previously reported on including Common or Tyrese Gibson.

Rampage joins Liam Neeson as Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith and Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck. Still to be cast is the other lead member of the A-Team, Capt. H.M. 'Howling Mad' Murdock. The original television show followed a group of American Special Forces Unit who are framed for a crime they didn't commit. The 20th Century Fox film will follow the same story expect having the A-Team being comprised of soldiers from Iraq and not Vietnam like in the original seres. The film will shoot in Vancouver over the next six weeks and is slated for a June 11th, 2010 release. More news on "The A-Team" as it breaks...
