Two brand new posters for "The Road" directed by John Hilcoat and adapted from the Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name have hit the net and I have them here for you below. "The Road" is another film that I am ecstatic about seeing and can't wait till this hits theaters October 16th! The film stars Viggo Mortensen, Guy Pearce, Robert Duvall and Kodi Smit-McPhee and follows a father and son as they try to reach safety and survive in a post-apocalyptic future. The posters feature the Man and his son as they travel in the grim future towards what they perceive as a safe heaven. Along the way although they will endure cannibalistic survivors who desperately scour the land for resources and food. The film was premiered at Telluride festival and has had not the best reviews out of the gate, I however remain very excited to see what was an amazing novel play out on screen by a credible director, solid actors and a stunning score.
