Sinestro Rumors Heat Up

While we are still some time away from seeing "The Green Lantern" a rumor last week got the internet all a buzz about who could play Hal Jordan's mentor and later biggest nemesis. That's right rumors are floating that a long time actor may be in talks to play Sinestro. Just who will play Sinestro, well you are just gonna have to find out after the jump...

AICN reports from one of their tipsters, that Rorshach himself, Jackie Earle Haley is a top of both WB and DC's list to play the mentor/villain. Haley has recently revamped his career with roles in Little Children, Watchmen and releasing next year "A Nightmare on Elm Street". While Haley is NOT the biggest and most agile performer, he is a perfect match for Sinestro. If this news turns out to be true, I can't wait to see Haley and Ryan Reynolds matching wits in "The Green Lantern".

AICN also reveals that a Superman cameo is still likely for "The Green Lantern" film. The real question is how? Will Superman make a costumed appearence or will we see a Clark Kent cameo? Only time will tell and if WB and DC are smart, they will keep us guessing till the super hero action releases June 17th, 2011. More news on "The Green Lantern" as it develops...
