Roth Plans Back to Back Shoots

Director Eli Roth has expressed once again his intent to make "Thanksgiving" recently at the Morelia film festival. The long time friend of Quentin Tarantino explained that before he does "Thanksgiving" he intends to shoot another film that he is remaining very quiet on. To find out what Eli Roth is directing next after the break...

Hostel and Cabin Fever director Eli Roth said at the film festival that his goal is to shoot his next two films back-to-back. The director would first shoot "Endangered Species" after wrapping the script in October and follow it with "Thanksgiving" a film that originated in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's double feature Grindhouse as a faux trailer.

Eli Roth did not give away any details surrounding "Endangered Species", although he did reveal that QT has in fact helped him editing the script. Roth also explained that he does not intend to re-hire the same actors from the faux "Thanksgiving" trailer, nor will the film be the exact same premise. He instead said that the only thing in common between the original faux trailer and his feature length film will be his "sick sense of humor." Which makes sense considering there is no way on Earth that Roth could get a R rating based off the 2 minute faux trailer that debuted in between Planet Terror and Death Proof.
