Trailer: Whip It!

The first trailer for Drew Barrymore's directorial debut "Whip It!" has hit the net and I have it here for you below. The story follows Ellen Page playing a beauty pagent misfit who behind her parents back's finds comfort in roller derby with other girls like herself. The trailer is pretty funny and builds a decent amount of interest, but the strong mainly all-girl cast is what has perked my attention the most. The cast includes; Ellen Page, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Wiig, Juliette Lewis, Zoe Bell, Eve and Marcia Gay Harden among others. The few male roles within the film are highlighted by Daniel Stern and Jimmy Fallon. "Whip It!" is scheduled to release October 9th. Checkout the trailer below....
