Burton Talks 'Alice' at SDCC

We all know that Tim Burton himself will be at Comic Con for the Disney 3D panel Thursday July 23rd that includes most importnatly, "Alice in Wonderland" and "Tron". What we didn't know (until now), was what exactly would Mr. Burton be showing at the Disney panel. Tim Burton talked with MTV about attending 2009's Comic Con in San Deigo and what he will be bringing with him. Read what Tim Burton had to say below...

Tim Burton tells MTV that he will indeed be bringing footage of "Alice in Wonderland" to show fans in attendance. Don't get too excited, because Burton tells MTV, there isn't a whole lot to show. He said, "[It’s] a kind of a semi-trailer." He explained, "It’s where we’re at at the moment. There’s not a lot of footage to show." So, it turns out while we will get to see some footage from the sequel to the original Lewis Carroll novel, it won't be much. Burton went on to tell MTV that the reason not much footage is available yet, is due to the 3D processing. "It’s a strange process we’re dealing with. We’re using a mix of techniques. If you picked them apart, each technique has been done before. We’re mixing them up, in a way." Tim Burton closed his talks with MTV by wishing that he had more for fans. He said, "I wish we had more footage to show. It’s a real mysterious puzzle that’s frightening and exciting at the same time." I am sure it is, especially with Burton at the helm!
