Trailer: Brothers

The first trailer for Jim Sheridan's latest film "Brothers" starring Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal and Natatlie Portman hit the net this week and I finally caught a chance to throw it up on Schofizzy Movie Review for your vieweing pleasure. The film written by David Benioff follows Tommy Cahill (Gyllenhaal) who begins to help watch over his brother's wife Grace (Portman) and two daughters while he serves a tour of duty in Iraq. When Sam (Magiure) is believed to be killed in action, Tommy and Grace become much closer than they ever anticipated. This makes the family dynamic all the more strange when Sam is brought home safe from Iraq soon after. "Brothers" releases December 4th. When I first began watching the trailer I was pretty intrigued, however the film takes a turn that just seems like too easy of a scapegoat. I obvisouly will save judgement till I see the final product, but "Brothers" looked to have a lot of potential with it's allstar cast and tone, I just it isn'y sullied by a third act of the film. See what you think below...

What say you? Are you interested in seeing brothers? Strikeback...

i thought 'Brothers' hit home, both by way of movie quality and the message it was trying to send
