Today is a good day, first I wake up to enjoy the treat of finally seeing the trailer to the Coen's newest filck "A Serious Man", now I get the pleasure of seeing Wes Anderson's "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" trailer, yes today is a good day! Let's get to the trailer, Anderson's follow up to The Darjeeling Limited is based off a famous children's book and is a filmed using stop-motion animation. In the previous weeks we have seen some terrific images from the film, but today I have the full length trailer below. Being Wes Anderson, I expected the film to be a throwback and it definately is! The animation doesn't look updated to our current standards in the slightest (it actually looks older than Nightmare Before Christmas), but that makes no difference, the result is still fantastic! As in any Wes Anderson film, the dialogue in "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" is superb and Anderson has definately brought his A-team of actors to voice the what looks to be hysterical little animals. Enough can't be said about how much I am looking forward to Jason Schwartzman's character. Clooney sounds spot on as the lead Mr. Fox and Bill Murray looks to be back to his old flawless routine with Wes Anderson behind the camera. This fall is the first time since being a kid that I am this amped about two children's tales coming to the big screen. Both Spike Jonze's "Where the Wild Things Are" and Anderson's "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" look to be highlights of the fall season. "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" releases November 13th, checkout the trailer below...
