Entertainment Weekly today gave us 16 new images from films being featured at Comic Con, what wasn't featured in that article was a brand new image of Jake Gyllenhaal in "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time". The image was excluded because the Jerry Bruckheimer produced video game adaptation is for some reason absent from Comic Con's schedule this year. The new picture is the first official shot of Gyllenhaal in character (there have been a ton of paparazzi shots), and shows him in the midst of what looks like some evasion tactics. Gyllenhaal told EW that he enjoyed doing an action film. "I'm tired of taking myself so seriously," Gyllenhaal said. He also expressed his enjoyment in performing his own stunts. He said, "It's nice when a stuntman turns to you and is like, 'Actors don't normally do this.'" "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" is directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and is set to release May 28th, 2010. Checkout the new image of Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan below....
