It appears that Eli Roth himself is directing a "film within a film" for Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino's newest movie. Recently it appeared that in some set photos on location in Goerlitz, had QT absent from the set. As people questioned what exactly was going on, it was later revealed by the Tarantino Archives that long time friend of QT, Eli Roth was directing a small film that would be included in Inglourious Basterds.
The film within a film, will follow Daniel Brühl playing a Nazi sniper, who along with some other GI's are sent on a suicide mission. No other information is given on the concept or shooting of Roth's film, but I am sure it will not disappoint. Roth and QT have collaborated numerous times on eachothers films, so this news comes as no surprise. More to come as news develops.
What do you think about Roth directing a "film within a film" for Inglourious Basterds? Are you excited for Inglourious Basterds? Did you know that QT dropped out of High School oat 16?
