Quentin Tarantino has been hard at work shooting "Inglourious Basterds" in order to make a Canne premerie this year. Yesterday on ET they had exclusive peak at the trailer for QT's newest film. Some news sources went as far as to post a recorded video off the TV. Today Yahoo trailers has released the previously mentioned trailer in all of it's glory. Better yet, I have it for you below!
The trailer is perfect and really raises my anticipation level for the brutal WWII story of 10 American soldiers who are dropped into Nazi occupied France and intend to wreak the same fear into the Nazi party as Germany has done to the rest of the world. As Pitt's character Lt. Aldo Raine so bluntly says in the trailer, "And the German will not be able to help themselves from imagining the cruelty their brothers endured at our hands...and our boot heels...and the edge of our knives." Inglourious Basterds hits U.S. theaters August 21st. Checkout the Basterds in action below....
What say you? Does Inglourious Basterds look all what it's cracked up to be? Has QT lost a little of his credit? Will Inglorious Basterds be Tarantino's return to amazing films like Reservior Dogs and Pulp Fiction or another not so great effort like Death Proof? Strikeback...
