Undertaker Murray in Get Low

Bill Murray has signed on to co-star in "Get Low," a period film that follows a true story, involving a Tennesse recluse who plans his own funeral while he is still alive and able to enjoy it. Variety reports that Bill Murray will co-star alongside Lucas Black (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift), who play partners at a local funeral home.

"Get Low" is set to start shooting next week in Georgia and stars Robert Duvall as the solitary Felix "Bush" Breazeale, who plans his own funeral. Sissy Spacek is also casted in the 1938 set thriller written by C. Gaby Mitchell, Aaron Schneider and Chris Provenzano. Schneider will be making his first feature length directorial debut with "Get Low," but has worked as DP on a number of projects including Kiss the Girls (1997) and Simon Birch (1998).

What say you? Glad to see Murray continuing to work? Duvall, Murray and Spacek should make for a compelling cast. Too bad it wasn't Lewis Black instead of Lucas Black! Strikeback...
