This is news I can get excited about! I have always loved Three Men and a Baby and to a lesser extent Three Men and a Little Lady, but now we can all eagerly await a third film in the series. That's right, Disney is developing "Three Men and a Bride". Find out all of the details after the break...
The once mega star Steve Guttenberg told WENN that he, Ted Danson and Tom Selleck are all returning for a third 'Three Men and a' film. He said, "That's going to be a smash. A smash hit. They're bringing everybody back for that." I don't know if I will go as far as saying it will be a smash hit, but I am sure "Three Men and a Bride" will more than pay for itself.
The original Three Men and a Baby released in 1987 with a sequel releasing 3 years later and a third film had been spoken of but never finalized until now. Obviously the story will take place with the 3 men walking their daughter down the isle. I'm thinking Father of the Bride except with 3 dad's instead of just one. Guttenberg, Danson and Selleck always had perfect chemistry in the previous two installments, so there is no reason to think that we would get anything different here.
While I am extremely pumped to see a third installment of the 'Three Men' series I am very curious to see who is penning the script and whom Disney pegs for the director duties. Certainly Leonard Nimoy isn't stepping back into the director's chair and Three Men and a Little Lady director Emile Ardolino hasn't directed a major film since 1993 with The Nutcracker, so the position remains vacant. So by any means, there is definitely more news on "Three Men and a Bride" coming as it develops...
