Once again I am writing about yet another remake. One genre of film I have been less resistant to remakes is the horror genre and actually this remake might not be too bad. That said the original is still a kick ass film. The update stars Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck) as the new stepfather, Sela Ward as the unsuspecting newly wed wife, Penn Badgley as the suspecting stepson and Amber Heard as his girlfriend. "The Stepfather" is slated for a October 16th release and is directed by Nelson McCormick. Checkout the trailer and one sheet below...
