Trailer: Shutter Island

The first trailer for the Martin Scorsese directed thriller "Shutter Island" has finally hit the net and I have it for you below. The trailer does give a good overall picture of the story, setting and tone of the film, however it may be one of many trailers that tends to give away too much of the storyline. The suspense drama is set in 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island. "Shutter Island" marks the fourth time Leonardo DiCaprio has starred in a Scorsese film. Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Emily Mortimer, Max von Sydow and Jackie Earle Haley co-star in the Paramount Pictures suspense thriller. "Shutter Island" is set for a October 2nd release.
