Today I have the first poster for "Youth in Revolt" courtesy of Cinematical. The poster is a nice representation of the classic cover to the C.D. Payne novel and Michael Cera looks the part despite his real age. "Youh in Revolt" releases October 20th and is directed by Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl). The misadventure comedy stars Michael Cera as the lead Nick Twisp, Steve Buscemi as his sex-obsessed father and Jean Smart as his neurotic mother. The rest of the well rounded cast is filled by Zach Galifianakis, Justin Long, Ray Liotta, Fred Willard, M. Emmet Walsh and stars Portia Doubleday in her breakout performance as Nick Twisp's love interest Sheeni.
Youth in Revolt is a flawless book that follows a life a typical cynical and sex-driven 14 year old teen named Nick Twisp written by C. D. Payne. Having read the book while in college, I absolutely love the story, it is a hilarious read and the absolute perfect portrayal of what lengths a pubescent teen will go to in search of love or the loss of their virginity. If you have not read Youth in Revolt I highly recommend you pick yourself up a copy, you wont regret it. Anyways, checkout the poster below....
