Watchmen Trailer Debuts!

Watchmen is still over 10 months away, but our first trailer has hit the internet. The trailer is before Dark Knight screenings being another of DC and WB's big budget films. Also rumored with Dark Knight are trailers for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Terminator Salvation. Watchmen is the highliest regarded graphic novel of all time and will prove to be the pinnacle of comic book films. Official synopsis is, In a gritty and alternate 1985 the glory days of costumed vigilantes have been brought to a close by a government crackdown, but after one of the masked veterans is brutally murdered an investigation into the killer is initiated. The reunited heroes set out to prevent their own destruction, but in doing so discover a deeper and far more diabolical plot.

I really can't put into words how awesome this trailer is. I have always loved the Watchmen and seem to re-read it almost every other year. Since I had heard Synder was annouced to make the iconic book into a feature length film, I was estactic! This is true fanboys fantasies coming to life. After watching the trailer, all my dreams have come true and this looks to be the greastest comic book movie of all time! I know I am jumping the gun, but god damn, it looks fucking insane! All of the characters are highlighted in the trailer, spending most of the trailer focusing on Dr. Manhattan. Some of the most pivotal images from the book are already given to us in the trailer too. For instance, Vietnam, all I can say is, Wow!
