Zack & Miri Make A Porno is releasing Halloween night and has had more than its share of press surrounding its release. Kevin Smith announced this film a couple years back at Comic Con and I was very intrigued. Smith has decided to wade in Judd Apatow's celebrity pool and brought over Seth Rogen and Craig Robinson along with Elizabeth Banks over to help him stir up a little publicity and hopefully just a little of the same success Apatow has had recently at the box office. Smith had released a red-band trailer back in late spring that was taken down by the MPAA. While the so-called red band trailer was viewable, it wasn't really a trailer, but more so a clip, from the film. This new red-band trailer is an actual full-length trailer.
This time the trailer gives you a much broader feel to just what the film will entail and some of the hilarity along the way. The trailer is very strong and has me very excited for the October 31st release. Rogen looks to be up the same dead-pan complaining, but looks ridiculously funny as Han Solo in "Star Whores," one of the porno films he will make in Zack & Miri Make A Porno. The trailer gives a nice look at Craig Robinson, who has always been a key player in the Apatow universe. Zack & Miri Make A Porno looks like it may excel Kevin Smith back into the limelight and out of the shadow of Jay & Silent Bob. Snooch!
The one-sheet features both Zack and Miri and it looks like each one is recieving fellatio from the other. Rogen's face is priceless and Banks, doesn't really make sense, but life goes on. Check out the red-band trailer below and one-sheet below.
