Arnie Is In Terminator Salvation!!

I have some awesome news surrounding Terminator Salvation. There has been a lot of speculation as to whether Arnold Schwarzenagger will be in the newest Terminator film at least in some form. Well the guys at Latino Review have the inside scoop and it seems Arnold didn't lie when he said, "I'll be back!"

Just how Arnold will be utilized was broken down for us, "The premise of Arnie's involvement is to have a fully rendered digital face of Arnie replacing the recently cast Roland Kickinger (The Younger version of Arnie)." Wow, so they will use Kickinger's body and super-impose Arnold's face over that. The fact that Arnold will be in the film in some capacity is very intriguing and McG, definately kept his word from Comic Con when he said, "Terminator fans would not be disappointed."

With this news comes the set photos of Arnie and his wife on set talking with Christian Bale and his wife. With more on the set photos Latino Review insider says, "It seems the Director McG will in no doubt try all he can to ensure the Governator has some sort of involvement and as a result Arnold was on set providing key ADR (Voice over) for the visual effects guys to reference during post production." Continuing Ballack said, "You may recall Christopher Lee's face being embossed on a stunt double in the Star Wars prequels?, imagine that with Arnold and you will get the picture. With ILM's best on the scene, it looks like Mc G is trying to get a head start on James Cameron's photo realistic stereoscopic camera systems."

Just how much Arnold we will get is not clear, but I would bet that this will still only be a small scene somewhere towards the end of the feature. Further assumptions lead me to believe a big cliffhanger where Connor comes face-to-face with the T-800 (or T-101 depending what view-point you take) and doesn't know whether he is good or bad!

Bale to the Governor, "Freeze! Ha Ha, that shit was funny Arnie. How bad was Batman & Robin?"

What are your thoughts on Arnie being in T4 in some manner? Does this add to any of your anticipation of Terminator Salvation? You think Bale ribbed the Arnold about his Mr. Freeze? I am sure Arnold tried to swap Batman stories with him, all the while Bale is thinking, "didn't you know that film was a piece of shit!"
