"Special" stars Michael Rapaport in a unique twist on a superhero film. Les Franken (Rapaport) is accepted into a expirmental drug study and starts believing that he is developing super powers. Les believes he must work to stop crime with his newly aquired powers, however everyone around him isn't so sure of his so-called "superpowers". "Special" was released in the UK in 2006 and did a stint at Sundance and Austin Film Festivals in 2006 as well, but was never picked up till this year for a small limited release this November. Written and directed by Hal Haberman, "Special" stars Michael Rapaport, Josh Peck, Paul Blackthorne and Jack Kehler, "Special" releases November 21st.
