Master of horror Dario Argento brings us "Giallo" starring Adrien Brody and Emmanuelle Seigner in a suspense/horror following a American Stewardess whose sister is kidnapped by a serial killer known as "yellow," the American hires a Italian detective to find her sister before she suffers the same fate as the women before her.
Originally, I found a ton of irony in the title alone of Giallo. Giallo is a genre of suspense/horror films that Dario Argento himself helped make. Giallo genre better known as "thrilling" in Italy, is credited to have been created by filmmaker Mario Bava, but Argento focused much of his early career working in the Giallo genre heavily developing the art. Now seeing the poster, I find a whole new set of irony with the overall look of the poster. The actual italian definition of giallo is yello. The word giallo became tied with suspense genre when old mystery novels in Italy all had yellow covers. So the look and use of color of this new one-sheet and the definition of its name definately has a few meanings.
Giallo releases sometime in 2009. Scroll down to check out the one-sheet....

How cool is this poster? Adrien Brody in a Dario Argento film, sign me up!
