Gripping Australia Trailer!!

Baz Luhrmann director of Moulin Rouge and Romeo & Juliett brings us "Australia" which stars Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman. This film looks to be an epic that really has all the pieces in the right places. "Australia" is set in northern Australia prior to World War II and centers on an English aristocrat (Kidman) who inherits a cattle station the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn stock-man (Jackman) to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier. The newest trailer really sees to capture the dramatic tone and size of Luhrmann's newest film. I am very intrigued to see how this film turns out, but looks to be just an amazing piece of cinema. How great does Australia look? Kidman and Jackman look to be in top form! My only concern is that Kidman looks very reminicent of her character in "Far & Away" (but that is a very minor concern).
