Positive Rumor for Deadpool

An outstanding rumor has been circling the net regarding the much talked of "Deapool" spin-off over at Fox. So good, I just had to pass on the great news. What is the fascinating news you ask? You are just going to have to find out after the jump...


If this rumor pans out, Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will take a go at "Deadpool" for 20th Century Fox. We all know Fox has pretty much given a middle finger to fans time and time again with popular franchises and X-Men is no different, but hiring Reese and Wernick could ensure a perfect tone to the Merc with the Mouth.

Zombieland was a perfect blend of tongue and cheek humor and action, so Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have the potential to really do justice to a much beloved Marvel anti-hero. Ryan Reynolds who played Wade Wilson aka Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine has stated that "Deadpool" would break the fourth wall and who better than Zombieland scribes to do just that?
