LaBeouf and the Law

Shia LaBeouf is the latest male actor to portray a John Grishman character in a film. The talented actor has signed on to star in John Grishman's current book that hasn't even released "The Associate," for Paramount Pictures. The book which hits shelves in January is of course another legal thriller by Grishman, whose books have been endlessly popular, just like the movies that have been adapted from his pages.

The book/film follows a Yale Law student who is about to graduate and is manipulated into accepting a job at a prestigious law firm and given privileged information about a multibillion-dollar lawsuit.
