Zack Snyder's latest "Sucker Punch" is still 8 months away from hitting theaters but that's not stopping Warner Brothers from putting the film on display this year at Comic Con in San Diego. Snyder knows from experience the best place to get the fans excited is Comic Con and this year he's got some women to show off in Hall H Saturday. This weekend in preperation for Comic Con the L.A. Times ran a brand new image of the girls in "Sucker Punch" and I've got here for you below...

My first thought looking at this image is wow. The girls look absolutely sexy and of course badass! Snyder has explained that "Sucker Punch" has a little bit of everything. He said, "Anything I thought was cool got put in the movie." So you can expect more fantasy with sleek visuals from Snyder's latest. Snyder has stated the film is Alice in Wonderland with machine guns. You can also expect zombie soldiers, steampunk scifi and maybe a dragon or two in his fantasy driven film.My second thought is hooray for young Hollywood. Most of these girls are lesser known actresses. Sure Vanessa Hudgens is huge with the High School Musical crowd, but this movie is not catering to her pre-teen maniacs at all. As for the rest of the girls, they've been in a thing or two, but this is the movie that could launch them to another level. Pictured above and starting from the left is Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens and Jamie Chung. The man pictured with the girls is none other than Scott Glenn, who clearly brings some stature to the female driven cast.
"Sucker Punch" follows a girl (Emily Browning) who is institutionalized by her abusive stepfather. While in the mental institution, she creates a dreamworld that comes to life. Browning replaced Amanda Seyfried in the lead role because of scheduling conflicts, and honestly, I like her in the role over Seyfried anyhow. Stay tuned for more on "Sucker Punch" as there is surely to be more news following its panel this Saturday at Comic Con 2010.
