First Official Look at Thor!

Marvel and director Kenneth Branagh have been shooting "Thor" since the beginning of the year in New Mexico and now we finally have our first look at the Asgardian. Thor has always been a fave of mine along with the other members of the Avengers and seeing the team coming together on screen is getting me quite giddy. No sense wasting too much time rambling about how excited I am for "Thor" scroll down and see the Norse god of Thunder for yourself...

Official Synopsis: The film follows the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth. "Thor" is set to release May 6th, 2011.
