The Other Guys" has hit the net and I have it here for you below. "
The Other Guys" is the latest comedy from
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and
Step Brothers director
Adam McKay starring (of course)

The action-comedy follows two mismatched detectives (
Will Ferrell and
Mark Wahlberg) who try to outshine the their departments top officers (
Samuel L. Jackson and
Dwayne Johnson). As you'll see in the trailer, things don't go as the two mismatched detectives had planned. "
The Other Guys" was penned by
Adam McKay and
Chris Hency and is set for release
August 6th.
While I really enjoyed '
Anchorman' and '
Talladega Nights,'
Step Brothers was a dud and "
The Other Guys" looks like it could miss the mark.
Will Ferrell remains funny, but his schtick is beginning to feel stretched. As far as the rest of the cast, I think
Samuel L. Jackson and
Dwayne Johnson look to have the funnier moments (at least in the trailer). Last week a Motion Poster was released that was pretty funny and had me excited, but sadly the full length trailer doesn't measure up.I'm hoping this film will exceed my expectations, but from what I've seen thus far "
The Other Guys" might not be worth the time. Stay tuned for more as it breaks...
