Trailer: Red Riding Hood

One trailer that left me kinda with my mouth on the floor and not in a good way this week was, "Red Riding Hood" directed by Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke. This trailer released a few days ago and immediately on Twitter I started seeing reactions of it being a Twilight copycat. My initial reactions were to scoff and say people were just being cynical, but boy-o-boy has Hardwicke latched on to the style she presented in the first Twilight film. Check it out below...



Everything from the locations to the actors hair looks like Warner Brothers wanted a movie that would grab the same crowd giving Summit all their money, problem is after 3 films (so far) that fans have clamored for, will those same fans want copycat films? Its one thing that these Twihards rush to see movies based on books they love, but I'm not so sure they will clamor or a fairytale they probably haven't heard since their infancy. Time will tell.
