Trailer: Hobo with A Shotgun

Back in April production began on the feature length version to the prize winning Grindhouse faux trailer titled "Hobo with a Shotgun." Jason Eiseneris directing and Rutger Hauer has been cast as the hobo. This week a brand new NSFW trailer has hit the net and if you are a fan of Grindhouse-esque movies, you're going to want to watch this trailer. See it after the jump...


"Hobo with a Shotgun" should hit theaters sometime in 2011. What kind of a release is totally up in the air and as you can see from this trailer, the film isn't holding back, so a wide release feels pretty risky. This Labor Day weekend however with 20th Century Fox releasing "Machete" perhaps a new resurrection of genre Grindhouse films will begin. Extremely doubtful, but you never know. Quite honestly, "Hobo with a Shotgun" will probably end up just being a niche film that small minority will grow to love. The good news is at least the movie is getting made and will eventually get released even if it is a very limited one.
