Poster: Tron Legacy

For awhile now it seems that their is a new "Tron Legacy" poster coming out every other week, but this latest trio of posters is too good for me not to draw a little more attention to Disney's marketing. Starting at the beginning of the week, Empire Online began a slow drip of 3 new posters that would make one Triptych banner. Not only is each piece of the triptych set outstanding together they make a elaborate display of the story and conflict set to take place in the long awaited sequel. Clu and Flynn on opposite sides with Flynn's son caught in the middle. It is  a brilliant design. Gotta love that the middle portion is such a classic throwback to the original poster. SDCC 2010 Wrap-Up

San Diego Comic Con is one of my most treasured vacations each year. Yes, you read that right, vacation. Most of the major movie blogs have scores of writers working for them trying to cover the entire convention, while here on SMR, I've got myself. Attending SDCC for me is not work, it is very much a pleasure and a joy for a couple of reasons. First, I see what I want. I'm not going to cover or waste time attending something I am not interested in. Second, I'm going with intentions to have fun. Simply put, this is a passion of mine so listening to some of my favorite directors and actors describing an upcoming project not to mention potentially showing me (and thousands of others) exclusive footage, is by every means, tons of fun.

This article is not trying to be breaking news. If you wanted that, you are better off on a site like Deadline, Slash Film, Collider, Latino Review or Heat Vision Blog who are in the business of pushing movies. I'm here instead to bring my opinion on upcoming movies that I am genuinely interested in. There is absolutely no peddling here, just my impressions from my experience at SDCC 2010. Trailer: Tron Legacy

Our first trailer for "Tron Legacy" has finally hit the net. A sequel to Tron has been 28 long years in the making but finally the countdown is closing in on December 17th, 2010. The first trailer for the long anticipated sequel is outstanding. The trailer plays perfect homage to the original film, while definitely giving the viewer a look inside the update.
