Savage Steve Holland Night

Last weekend at a local Los Angeles revival theater called The Cinefamily located at the Silent Movie Theater hosted a memorable and meaningful experience with director Savage Steve Holland. If you're wondering who Savage Steve Holland is, first off shame on you, but secondly he directed three outstanding coming age teen comedies in the late 1980's. Cinefamily showed a sold out crowd a double feature of Savage Steve's first two films "Better Off Dead" and "One Crazy Summer" both of which starred John Cusack and Curtis Armstrong. Posters: 2012

Over the week some new posters for Ronald Emmerich's "2012" has found their way on to the net and courtesy of Yahoo I have them here for you below. The 3 new posters highlight more of the decimation that we will witness in the over-the-top destruction film releasing November 13th. Certainly the point of watching "2012" is all for the daunting special effects and seeing absolute destruction to the world we know, but the official synopsis is: An epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors. The film stars John Cusack, Thandie Newton, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Woody Harrelson.
