1st Annual Schofizzy Awards Nominee's

We've gone to the movies all year long and what better way to sum up the year and give honor to the best and the brightest in cinema by having an annual awards. Similar in likes to that of the Oscars, the Globes, SAG, or IFC awards the Schofizzy Awards breaks down the years elite films and performances. Review - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button follows the life of a child who was born under very unusual circumstances. The infant appeared to have the health and genetics of a male who had lived an 80 year lifespan. A peculiar condition in which Benjamin, instead of growing older, would grow younger. The adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald short story chronicles Benjamin's 80 years, the lives he intersects with along the way and the impact they make on his rare life.

Review - Revolutionary Road

Set in the mid-1950's and based off the Richard Yates novel, Revolutionary Road follows a young couple in their pursual and struggle in maintaining their marriage in suburban Connecticut, while raising their two young children. Frank is distraught with his mundane job, while April mourns the realization of her fleeting acting career. In hopes to save the spoiling relationship and break the social confindes of suburbia, the two plan to move away to France, but face the realization that the endless cycle may be too great to break free from.
